Located in the heart of Peoria’s Warehouse District, owner Travis Mohlenbrink and Executive Chef Vince Swanson have created a quick-casual dining experience that is unrivaled in central Illinois. Its name is Sugar.
Visual and palate pleasing, Sugar’s menu is inspired by traditional wood fired ovens. Fired by locally-sourced hardwood, the menu features gourmet pizzas, sandwiches and a variety of other delectable dishes. We also offer the tasty sweet treats people have come to know at Travis’ two other restaurants, Cracked Pepper and Salt. The menu is completed with hand-crafted Artisan beer and a wine selection offered by the glass and bottle.
From the moment you step into Sugar, you’ll notice something completely different. We are counter service, meaning you will be greeted by a friendly staff member at the counter, ready to take your order. After your order has been placed, you will then receive a number to take to your table and we will deliver the food to you.
While you dine, you will notice our restaurant incorporates the use of all repurposed material and LED lighting that has been inspired by the “Green” movement. This, along with an open-kitchen and a view of the wood fired oven, creates an atmosphere that completes the dining experience.
